Grant Title: HS NIMS and ICS Training Grant Program (2008)
Description: Funding under this grant program will help local and state government agencies become compliant with NIMS and ICS requirements. Compliance with the federal requirements will improve the state’s ability to respond to all hazards emergencies whether it is local, regional or statewide.

- Applications must be received by OJA no fewer than 45 days prior to the scheduled NIMS or ICS course.
Anticipated Funding Amount: $300,000 will be available to fund NIMS and ICS courses.
Eligibility: Local/State government units that must comply with Homeland Security’s Presidential Directive 5 (HSPD-5).
Match/Cost Sharing Requirement: None
Eligible Expenses: All expenses must be new and cannot replace existing government funding. Reimbursable expenses must follow guidelines detailed in this funding announcement.
